The Results (drum roll please…)

After many attempts, I finally got the Bod Pod test done! It’s confirmed, I’m morbidely obese. BUT – I’m shredding the weight off 19 miles at a time. Here are my results:

Fat Weight:

 126.4 lbs

Lean Weight:

 168.8 lbs

Total Weight:

 295.2 lbs

 

 

Percent Fat:

 42.8%

Percent Lean:

 57.2%

My RMR (resting metabolic rate) is 2,208 kcal/day. That means I burn 2,208 calories everyday without doing anything. So if I do nothing today but watch TV, I’m going to burn 2,208 calories. It takes 3,500 to lose a pound of fat. I eat maybe 3,000 – 3,500 calories a day, and I’m guessing I’m burning 4,000-5,000 a day when I ride. At that rate, I should loose 2-3 lbs for a week. If I can cut my diet to 2500 calories a day, I will lose an additional 2 lbs a week. I’m going back in two weeks — I’ll post my results in the “Weekly Update…”.
