{"id":195,"date":"2007-08-24T08:07:45","date_gmt":"2007-08-24T15:07:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sackrider.org\/category\/mythoughts\/life-comes-at-you-fast"},"modified":"2025-06-15T06:07:38","modified_gmt":"2025-06-15T06:07:38","slug":"life-comes-at-you-fast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sackrider.org\/wordpress\/life-comes-at-you-fast\/","title":{"rendered":"Life comes at you fast&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have ever seen the insurance commercial where some guy is trying figure out what a light switch does in his house and the garage door two houses down is going up and down, up and down, up and down\u00c2\u00a0on some lady&#8217;s car, as his flips the switch, then the voice over says, &#8220;Life comes at you fast&#8221;?\u00c2\u00a0 The guy asks his wife to look and see if any thing changes in the house while he is hitting the switch &#8211; and she just sits outside his view reading a magazine saying, &#8220;nothing, nope, I don&#8217;t see anything&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 Some days I relate this guy &#8211; having some switch in my life that I have no idea what it does, and no one is helping me to figure it out.\u00c2\u00a0 Today I feel like the old lady down the street.<\/p>\n<p>My life is getting slammed over and over and with no apparent cause.\u00c2\u00a0 I just know that some guy two houses up is saying, &#8220;Anything yet honey?&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 Nope, nothing yet&#8230;\u00c2\u00a0 Look lady,\u00c2\u00a0 just get up and help the guy &#8211; we&#8217;ll all be happier for it.<\/p>\n<p>BTW &#8211; TV Fast is still going strong.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m catching up on my reading.
