{"id":194,"date":"2007-08-20T11:15:17","date_gmt":"2007-08-20T18:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sackrider.org\/category\/moments-of-insanity\/thirty-days"},"modified":"2025-06-15T06:07:38","modified_gmt":"2025-06-15T06:07:38","slug":"thirty-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sackrider.org\/wordpress\/thirty-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Thirty Days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My first &#8220;<em>Moments of Insanity<\/em>&#8221; thought since I started writing the book &#8211; Saturday night (Aug 18th), on the way home from my brother&#8217;s house, riding in the car with Cher, Dad, Dianne, Zander, and Ava &#8211; I thought to myself &#8211; I should go a month without watching TV.\u00c2\u00a0 It just hit me.\u00c2\u00a0 We were not talking about TV in the car.\u00c2\u00a0 It didn&#8217;t flow with any of our conversations of the night.<\/p>\n<p>But there it was &#8211; no TV for a month.\u00c2\u00a0 So I thought to myself, how do I determine a &#8216;moment of insanity&#8217; from a wild crazy uninspired thought?\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe I&#8217;ll have to explore that as a chapter in the book.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe I will also need a whole chapter on fasting &#8211; fasting food, TV, computer time, any kind of fasting.\u00c2\u00a0 For now, I am forced to deal with this current idea of fasting television.\u00c2\u00a0 Is it inspired?\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ll let you know after a month of no television (today is day 2 of 30).<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; an entire month without any kind of TV?!?!
